Description
TwinBond Stone is a one-component MS polymer adhesive for bonding brick slips to backing boards in ventilated facade constructions. Its high viscosity gives the adhesive a high initial grab, which allows brick slips to be bonded vertically without support. Where brick slips are traditionally set in cement-based adhesive, TwinBond Stone requires no mixing and no preparation time. The adhesive remains elastic. Apply in adhesive beads or across the full surface, with a manual or pneumatic gun.

All properties at 23°C/50% relative humidity.
- Composition: 1-component MS polymer, moisture-curing. Does not contain phthalates, solvents, isocyanates or silicones.
- Form: paste.
- Consistency: dimensionally stable.
- Density: 1,48 ± 0,05 g/cm³.
- Shore-A-hardness (DIN 53505): 50.
- Modulus elongation at 100% (DIN 53504 S2): ± 1,2 N/mm².
- Elongation at break (DIN 53504 S2): ± 400%.
- Tensile strength (DIN 53504 S2): ± 2,2 N/mm².
- Shrinkage (DIN EN ISO 10563): ≤ 6%.
- Open time: 8 min.
- Curing through:
- after 24h: ≥ 3,0 mm;
- after 48h: ≥ 5 mm.
- Consumption with Ten-Way Nozzle:
- 1 l/m². Approximately 0.29 m² per 290 ml cartridge;
- 0.6 m² per 600 ml sausage;
- 20 m² per hobbock.
- Consumption in adhesive beads:
- 7.5 m per 290 ml cartridge
- 15 m per 600 ml sausage
- Application temperature: from +5°C up to +40°C.

Instructions
- Consult the detailed processing guidelines at www.twinbond.com
- Work between +5 °C and +40 °C, at a relative humidity below 90 % and with a substrate temperature at least 3 °C above the dew point.
- The substrate must be dry, clean, flat and stable. Clean and degrease with TwinBond Clean or TwinBond Foam. Brush the back of the brick slips clean and remove loose particles.
- Bond the backing boards to one another with TwinBond Panel or TwinBond Stone at a board spacing of 3 mm, to prevent moisture ingress.
- TwinBond Stone is applied with the 10-way nozzle or in adhesive beads. Place the brick slip within the 8-minute open time and press it firmly home.
