Description

MS polymer for vertical and horizontal bonding of façade panels in HPL and fiber cement, aluminum, (galvanized) steel, ceramics, plaster, concrete, wood, natural stone, basalt and insulating panels. Does not contain phthalates, solvents, isocyanates or silicones.

  • Consistency: non-sagging.
  • Density 23°C / 50% H.R.: 1,53 ± 0,05 g/cm³.
  • Shore-A (DIN 53505): 58.
  • Modulus elongation at 100% and 23°C (DIN 53504 S2) storage during 7 days at 23°C /50% H.R.: ± 1,6 N/mm².
  • Elongation at break (DIN 53504 S2) storage during 7 days at 23°C and 50% H.R.: ± 300%.
  • Tensile strength (DIN 53504 S2): 290 N/cm².
  • Tooling time at 23°C / 50% H.R.: max.10 min.
  • Curing through at 23°C / 50% H.R./ after 24h: ≥2,0 mm; after 48h: ≥,5 mm.
  • Change of volume (DIN EN ISO 10563): ≤ 6%.
  • Temperature resistance: -40°C to +90°C.
  • Application temperature: from +5°C up to +40°C.
  • Shelf life: 18 months, keep dry, cool and frostfree.

Instructions

  • Apply to a clean, stable substrate.
  • Clean the substrate with TwinBond Clean and/or TwinBond Foam.
  • Sand if necessary.
  • Use between +5 °C and +40 °C.
  • Test adhesion to plastics, powder coatings, exotic species of wood and bituminous materials.
  • Reinforce poor-quality and porous substrates beforehand with TwinBond SIP.
  • Finish, remove adhesive residues and clean your tools with TwinBond Clean.
